04-16-2021 09:40 AM in. I just bought a Gear S3 classic from amazon refurbished, I charged it up and turned it on only to find that the battery doesn't hold it's charge for more than an hour. Not only that but when it's dead and won't charge on again, I put it on the charger and it shows as 70% for some reason despite not being able to turn on.
My grandfather had an S3 classic, and his had a (supposedly common) issue where the battery was shorted and drained very fast as well. He gave it back to Samsung and they repaired it. Edit: Forgot to include, before the battery began dying quickly, the watch would last me a good 2 1/2 to 3 days before needing a recharge.

Honestly it took me 2 different chargers and 3 different usb cables to finally get it correct and charge properly. Try switching cables/ wall power bricks around. My power brick is the one that came in the box originally. While it unplugs on the side of the charging stand it is built in on the wall plug side.

This is my 2nd Gear S3 battery replacement (went smoother than the first one on my frontier) so I'm not sure if it's something I did or not. I also opened mine back up and made sure the button is physically being pressed (when I changed the battery I didn't even remove that part of the watch from the case the first time around).
