1998 Mode is a game mode in the BioShock Infinite downloadable content Burial at Sea - Episode 2. 1998 Mode focuses on stealth gameplay. The challenge is to complete the entire episode using only non-lethal methods. The mode restricts the weapon selection to the Crossbow and the Air Grabber. The Plasmid selection is the same, except for Possession, which will affect the enemies but they will Personally, I paid $15 for the season pass once I read positive reviews for burial at sea. And at $7.50 / episode, I'd probably say they were worth it if the second holds up. The first was good. It wasn't amazing, though, and I'd personally have felt a little ripped off if I was paying $15 for those couple hours. I have not played BioShock 1 & 2. I jumped to Infinite immediately and I've played through all that and Burial at Sea Episode 1. However I've heard people say it's dumb to play Burial at Sea Episode 2 before you've played BioShock 1 & 2 because it would be too many spoilers and such things.
